Rogers Communications (TSE:RCI) is expanding it Rogers Smart Home Monitoring, a home security and home automation control system, to residents of Ontario's Golden Horseshoe. The service allows customers to control and automate their home security, lights, cameras, thermostats and appliances remotely through their smartphone, computer or tablet. Rogers first launched the service in its cable footprint in Ontario in August 2011.
