Verimatrix Shows Multiscreen Security

At the CableLabs Winter Conference in Orlando, FL, this week, Verimatrix is hosting a demonstration of its Video Content Authority System (VCAS) and ViewRight solutions.Demos include a digital TV security solution for pay TV services over broadband and hybrid broadcast-IP networks. The strategy combines traditional and IP distribution, with the RF (QAM) network used for linear broadcast content and adaptive bitrate IP for unicast and on-demand delivery. The demonstration will highlight how content can be securely distributed inside the home, as part of an integrated service offering, using a combination of advanced set top boxes (STBs) and common CE client devices.
