Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) has expanded its relationship with Digitalsmiths to integrate the vendor's Seamless Discovery technology into TWC's search and recommendations functionality. Digitalsmiths offers individualized search and recommendations and incorporates dozens of data sources. Additional data sets will be added over time providing expanded capabilities for subscribers.In other TWC news, the MSO has opened a new customer-centric retail store in Wilmington, NC. The new store is the first of its kind for TWC and is designed to provide customers with an interactive experience surrounding Time Warner Cable's suite of TV, Internet and phone products. TWC plans to expand the concept to other stores nationally over the next several years.
