Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) has upgraded its membership in the Multimedia over Coax Alliance from Contributor to Promoter. Jim Crammond, CTO of gateway solutions within Intel's service provider division, will represent Intel on MoCA's board of directors.Contributor level members are eligible to participate in all MoCA work groups and have voting rights. Promoters also serve on the board and are involved in all aspects of managing and guiding the alliance.
