Comcast Touts Speedy WiFi Gateway

Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is pairing high-speed Internet with high-speed in-home WiFi with its latest Xfinity Wireless Gateway. The second-generation device is designed for approximately 155 Mbps of wireless throughput.Comcast also announced the availability of Extreme 305 throughout most major markets in its Northeast division. Extreme 305 offers download speeds of up to 305 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 65 Mbps. Extreme 305 customers also receive Xfinity Signature Support Complete Home service, providing 24/7 tech support; a wireless router; a dedicated Premier Care team; and the Constant Guard Security Suite.The Extreme 305 package is being offered in Boston, Hartford, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Wilmington, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond, and New Jersey.
