Oregon-based BendBroadband has worked with ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) to bring to market an iPad application for the Alpha whole-home system. The app is designed to let Alpha customers control their DVR and live viewing. Available through iTunes, the app allows subscribers to view TV channel listings and manage recordings while on the go. While inside the home, the user can use the app on the iPad, like a remote, to navigate the TV guide and tune to a new channel.
