IMJ Corporation was selected as having the best new idea for a product most likely to succeed as part of informal polling conducted following “Innovation Showcase” presentations during the CableLabs’ Summer Conference today. Ten companies participated in the showcase session, which provides each company with up to 10 minutes to present and demonstrate its technology solution for cable. IMJ Corporation demonstrated the MG Stick which provides an access solution to the second screen and OTT markets for cable operators, mobile carriers, and content/application providers. It is designed to turn any TV with an HDMI port into an interactive “smart” TV.
