New U.S. research from Parks Associates indicates that providers who offer customer support services such as tech support, home monitoring, backup services and antivirus protection can increase their percentage of highly satisfied broadband customers by almost 20% over the national average.Parks also reports one-fourth of U.S. broadband households intend to purchase an Internet-connectable CE device in 2011. Nearly 30% of U.S. consumers would purchase a CE product from a specific manufacturer if it included ongoing support services.
