iControl Networks is expanding into the European market through its partnership with Swisscom. The two companies plan to offer new products and services for residential customers to help them stay connected to their homes when away. The first "Smart Living" solutions are expected to be launched to the Swiss market next year.Initially, Swisscom's "Smart Living" solution will allow consumers to control home appliances and other devices via smartphones or the web. Security sensors and video, as well as appliances such as heaters, lamps or coffee machines, are linked in an intelligent network that consumers can control from anywhere, at any time.
