The DG5000 is a multi-gigabit DOCSIS 3.1 gateway with 2.5-Gbps Ethernet and MoCA 2.0 built in. This platform offers customers a full-featured router with four Ethernet ports and the flexibility to pair with any WiFi system. The DG5000 decouples broadband and WiFi technologies, which enables more rapid WiFi and in-home connectivity iteration while keeping the broadband/router equipment intact. As what the company asserts is the first non-WiFi gateway with OpenSync integrated, the DG5000 works natively with OpenSync compatible WiFi to create a seamless network and provide both the subscriber and operator with significant features, control and visibility of the entire home network.
