AT&T (NYSE:T) plans to expand its fiber-based GigaPower network to Nashville, featuring symmetrical broadband speeds up to 1 Gbps as well as video services to consumers and businesses. Specific locations of availability and pricing for the Nashville market will be announced at a later date. The telco is also considering five other Tennessee municipalities - Clarksville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Spring Hill - as candidates for the service.
