RDK Management Names Chief, Support Vendors

RDK Management announced key leadership and support services for the Reference Design Kit (RDK) with the appointment of Steve Heeb as president and general manager of the company, and the selection of S3 Group and itaas to provide RDK support services to the company and its licensees.Heeb brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the organization. He is currently vice president of licensing and strategic development at Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA). Heeb will continue to hold this position, and other duties, in addition to his responsibilities for RDK Management.S3 Group and itaas also were selected to provide comprehensive support for the RDK developer community and to lay the foundation for rapid adoption and long-term success.S3 Group has been selected for code management in implementing the RDK vision of continuous improvement through community contribution.itaas will oversee technical support and training for licensees through the company's development, integration, testing expertise, and multiple labs.
