ThinkAnalytics says it is the first recommendations engine to license the reference design kit (RDK) software stack from Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA). The RDK is a pre-integrated software bundle to create a common framework for powering tru2way, IP or hybrid set-top boxes (STBs), and video gateway devices. The agreement enables ThinkAnalytics to provide software development, integration and testing services to STB and chip manufacturers as well as MSOs who are planning to take advantage of the RDK.
