ActiveVideo Networks announced the launch of its "CloudTV Access" developer program, an initiative designed to accelerate the design and deployment of HTML5 user experiences for CloudTV-enabled smart TVs, set-top boxes and other CE devices.The program leverages the "write-once, deploy-everywhere" content creation environment of ActiveVideo's CloudTV platform. The program is designed to help developers who are experienced with HTML5 development on the Web make the transition to television while providing them with CloudTV tools and resources.ActiveVideo Networks will highlight the features of CloudTV H5 and the CloudTV Access program during a special presentation as part of the Developer University at the 2013 CES this week in Las Vegas.
