Entropic Communications and Channel Master announced the availability of two new Internet-to-TV adapters. Powered by Entropic's home entertainment networking silicon, the Channel Master Internet-to-TV Adapter Kits are designed to allow consumers and home electronics installers to network connected TVs and Internet devices from any room to a broadband router through the existing coax wiring in the home.Leveraging Entropic's silicon and software based on MoCA, the single and four-port Internet-to-TV adapters are intended to transform coax cable into a high-speed whole home entertainment network to support HD quality streaming for multi-room DVR, over-the-top (OTT) services and online gaming.
