VIAVI Solutions Nano OSA Module

Sept. 22, 2021
The Nano OSA modules are the first optical channel verifier (OCV-4100) and optical spectrum analysis (OSA-4100) modules to offer high-resolution performance with full-band coverage for dense WDM channel analysis for metro and access network applications.

VIAVI says the Nano OSA modules are the first optical channel verifier (OCV-4100) and optical spectrum analysis (OSA-4100) modules to offer high-resolution performance with full-band coverage for dense WDM channel analysis for metro and access network applications. Described as the smallest and toughest field spectral test solution available, the modules combine the ability to program and validate pluggable transceivers in the field, which enables faster link activation and improved first time turn-up rate. Supported by multiple VIAVI platforms, they enable a single solution for high-speed WDM service activation and maintenance.

Judge’s Comment: “Buy now and use for a long time. Looks like the right solution for engineering added services onto existing infrastructure with confidence.”
