For traditional HFC applications, the IRXD offers GPS-based ingress detection with high levels of detection speed and accuracy. Operating in a continuous monitoring mode, it works as a standalone or value-added complement to Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) tools. For DAA/R-PHY implementations, the IRXD simplifies the transition to R-PHY by enabling continuity of testing and interoperation of deployed field devices for ingress remediation.
