The days of the "dedicated fiber technician" are over, Viavi says. Every technician works with fiber, and every technician is expected to inspect fiber end faces. The FiberChek probe is an all-in-one handheld solution for technicians at every level. It offers built-in image viewing, auto-focus, pass/fail analysis, storage and recall. Inspection workflows are automated, which helps ensure fast and accurate performance.

An integrated touch-screen display shows live images and analysis results with easy navigation and testing for acceptance criteria. It integrates with a selection of other Viavi test solutions and both iOS and Android mobile devices via WiFi, Bluetooth and USB.
