The R&S CLG Cable Load Generator simulates cable TV networks with full channel loading. It can generate nearly 160 digital and analog channels - a capability one Diamonds judge called "very beneficial" for both equipment manufacturers and network operators.

Specifically, the R&S CLG has a frequency range from 47 MHz to 1,002 MHz and covers all cable TV frequency bands worldwide. Each digital channel can transmit one transport stream or pseudo random bit sequence. Analog channels carry test patterns with test tones.
