The Terrace DVB Commercial Video Gateway is a multi-channel QAM to DVB-T or QAM to QAM decrypting trans modulator used for business-to-business commercial video applications. Demodulated MPEG transport streams are decrypted by DVB CAM technology and then re-modulated to the desired DVB-T or QAM channel.

The Terrace DVB can decrypt using eight DVB Professional CAMs and provides up to eight DVB-T or QAM channels to allow a full line-up of customized programming. Vecima says the Terrace DVB Commercial Video Gateway is a compact 1RU, flexible cost-effective platform targeted to commercial video accounts. The company says the gateway is well positioned between low-cost products that provide inflexible low channel counts and high-cost headend adapted products that provide equivalent functionality for the commercial video space.
