Midco plans to launch the TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) Whole Home Experience in its recently acquired Lawrence, KS, system on Sept. 5. Midco bought the system from WOW! (NYSE:WOW) in January, adding 30,000 subscribers to its base of 350,000 in the Dakotas, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
TiVo provides access to all digitally delivered channels, HD programming, digital music, ON Demand and pay-per-view programs. Customers choosing TiVo from Midco will also get whole home DVR and streaming capabilities.
"TiVo is a customer favorite, offering an advanced on-screen guide, enabling you to search for content across your favorite video sources including streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube," said Tom McAdaragh, VP of technology at Midco.
In order to receive all of TiVo's fantastic features, Midco Internet 60 and a modem are necessary. Customers can begin ordering TiVo on Sept. 5.
