At the NCTA's INTX show in Boston, Alticast will highlight both technology and customer deployments, with a focus on 4K/UltraHD video and user interface (UI) technologies.

Showcased products will include the company's AltView 3 user interface and other solutions for search, discovery and navigation across linear, on-demand, online and the subscriber's personal content.

Highlighted customer deployments will include:

  • Videotron's 4K/UltraHD set-top box, which uses Alticast middleware and UI
  • An APAC operator deployment that includes network DVR, IP-to-tablet delivery and other services
  • Korea's KT Skylife deployment of the Alticast AltiView 2 solution to enable services including multi-Picture-in-Picture mosaic, an integrated YouTube Leanback application, and DVR functionality
  • Operator deployments of Android-based set-top box solutions designed to support migration to IPTV platforms
