Espial (TSX:ESP) and Metrological have integrated the Metrological Application Platform with Espial's G4 STB Client. The combination is intended to enable operators to deploy operator-branded TV app stores in an RDK-compliant user experience to blend live TV and OTT viewing with personalized app content.

Metrological's cloud-based Application Platform is designed to offer lifecycle support for operator TV app stores and content provider apps, and to enable operators to manage their app stores with access to business intelligence data and marketing analytics in real-time. Operators can customize their branded TV app store for each market using Metrological's 250+ App Library of premium apps or build their own apps with an open source SDK.

Espial's G4 Client working with the Metrological Application Platform will be on display at IBC in Amsterdam.
