ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) and Wurl have launched ARRIS Market, an open platform for cable operators combining over-the-top (OTT) content with traditional programming services on ARRIS set-tops.

The platform is standards-based and features an HTML5 interface that's designed to integrate OTT content into a single experience, and also allow for operator branding and the ability to customize the organization of the content. The solution will be demonstrated at the NCTC Independent Show in Kansas City.
