Blonder Tongue Laboratories and R.L. Drake Holdings, an affiliate, issued a press release on Sept. 5 saying that they had received a "favorable ruling" on a summary judgement motion in a patent infringement suit filed by K Tech Telecommunications. Judge Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California ruled in favor of Blonder Tongue and Drake. The case involves three patents related to "systems and methods for updating the channel information contained in digital television signals," according to Blonder Tongue's press release.
