According to a survey by CouponCabin, 45% of U.S. adults surveyed think cable TV is a waste of money, yet 81% report they are currently subscribed to cable or satellite TV services, and 15% of cable subscribers surveyed said they would never consider dropping cable TV services.Some 43% of U.S. adults report they won't cancel cable TV services because then they can't watch live sports programming. However, 14% said they would cut their cable cord if there were alternative ways to watch live sports broadcasts.Some 11% of U.S. adults report they have previously subscribed to satellite or cable TV, but don't any more. In addition, 8% said they have never subscribed to any TV services.
