Rovi Extends IPG Deal With NDS

Rovi has extended its license agreement with NDS Group for Rovi's interactive program guide (IPG) patent portfolio. Through the agreement, NDS will be able to continue to provide IPG and related technologies under the Rovi patents to its customers. The extension runs for an additional 5-year period and includes new, additional rights under the Rovi patents for secondary screens such as mobile devices, tablets and online applications.
