Ericsson Highlights Multiscreen at NAB

At NAB in Las Vegas this week, Ericsson is highlighting a new compression platform for linear TV and a multiscreen TV portfolio for multi-platform ecosystems. New product launches for the show include:


  • AVP video processing platform, a multi-codec, multi-function video compression and processing platform


  • AVP3000 Voyager with multi-codec, multi-network support for live content acquisition


  • AVP2000 Contribution Encoder for linear content exchange and distribution


  • Multiscreen Video Processing for processing of channels into adaptive streaming profiles, including a hardware-based multiscreen transcoder and a multiscreen network processor
