Cisco, Harmonic Get Pieces of the Olympic Pie

    This summer, Cisco and Harmonic will collaborate with NBC Olympics to help deliver coverage of the London Games from July 27 to Aug. 12.Cisco will provide building blocks for an IP video contribution network from London to New York, including networking equipment and its Videoscape delivery platform. Harmonic will provide Omneon MediaGrid shared storage systems and ProMedia Carbon enterprise transcoding software.
