    Softel announced the launch of MediaSphere DTA, a transport stream generator for distributing data to digital transport adapters (DTAs). It's designed to allow cable operators using full or partial analog infrastructure to deliver advanced digital services and additional channel packages.MediaSphere DTA is intended to maximize bandwidth capacity of current infrastructure for delivery of digital services, such as service information, EPG and VOD. The transport stream generator can create several types of SCTE data and deliver it to a variety of consumer devices including set-top boxes, DTAs and CableCARDs.
