Showtime Set for OTT

Beginning in early July, Showtime will be offered as a stand-alone over-the-top (OTT) streaming service to Apple customers. Users will be able to subscribe for $10.99 per month in order to view Showtime programming on all Apple devices. Additional platforms and providers are expected to be announced soon.
Beginning in early July, Showtime will be offered as a stand-alone over-the-top (OTT) streaming service to Apple customers. Users will be able to subscribe for $10.99 per month to view Showtime programming on all Apple devices. Additional platforms and providers are expected to be announced soon. "Going over-the-top means Showtime will be much more accessible to tens of millions of potential new subscribers," Leslie Moonves, CBS Corp. president and CEO, said. Subscribers will have unlimited on-demand access to every season of Showtime original series, hundreds of hours of movies, documentary and sports programming and live broadcast of east and west coast feeds of Showtime. There will be a 30-day free trial available to new customers.
