Waoo!, a Danish broadband provider delivering fiber-based network services to nearly 200,000 households, has deployed RGB Networks' Video Multiprocessing Gateway (VMG) and TransAct Packager for its new over-the-top (OTT) video service.Waoo!'s June 2011 OTT launch used RGB's VMG and TransAct Packager to roll out 36 channels streaming Microsoft Smooth Streaming adaptive format to PC-based consumers, adding to its existing TV service of 190 TV channels, with plans to extend the service to 50 channels with four adaptive profiles for each channel.
