Imagine Communications plans to demonstrate solutions for tablet TV streaming at IBC in Amsterdam. The company will showcase its ICE Streaming System for streaming live multi-format video to multiple tablets.Imagine's ICE Streaming System is a new network-side transcoding video processing platform designed to allow multi-screen service providers to deliver video across multiple devices, with high compression efficiency. The ICE Streaming System is designed to support up to 1,000 stream-aligned, multi-profile transcodes from a single carrier-class blade system platform. It's based on the company's ICE Video Platform, a multi-codec, multi-rate, multi-resolution video processing platform.
