Comcast announced the launch of its ON DEMAND service to Colorado mountain communities Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne. The rollout was made possible by an agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) to lease single-mode fiber optic strands along the I-70 Corridor, reported here in November.In addition, Comcast will move its mountain subscribers to an all-digital simulcast lineup. The transition began in March and is expected to be completed in April.
