At IBC in September, Concurrent will be highlighting its eFactor product suite, a workflow and distribution software platform designed to simplify delivering multi-format video to a range of devices by addressing preparation, packaging, policy and protection.It supports Apple, Adobe and Microsoft HTTP adaptive bitrate formats and repackages a single source asset on the fly, and is also designed to support future formats.eFactor's Transmux is offered as a software development kit (SDK) or as an integrated feature in eFactor multi-format origin and edge servers. The SDK is intended for CDNs with substantial investment in existing infrastructure to integrate Transmux SDK with their existing servers. Packaged eFactor origin and edge servers are intended for customers who do not have existing infrastructure.
