Entrisphere wins $75M Series C financing
May 9, 2005 Santa Clara, CA -- Entrisphere has secured $75 million in Series C financing. The company says it will use the funding to expand its customer support and manufacturing operations, as well as for product development and other functions.
The financing round was led by VantagePoint Venture Partners, and included existing investors Accel Partners, Benchmark Capital, CDP Capital, Crosspoint Venture Partners, Duff Ackerman & Goodrich, El Dorado Ventures, the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board, and STAR Ventures.
"We are pleased with the confidence that our investors have shown in Entrisphere with this round of funding," remarks Mark Floyd, president and CEO of Entrisphere.
The company also announced that Cynthia Ringo, managing director at VantagePoint Venture Partners, has joined its board of directors.
