Dickey Rural Networks picks APA Cables & Networks for fiber upgrade
August 11, 2005 Minneapolis, MN -- Dickey Rural Networks of Ellendale, North Dakota has installed APA Cables & Networks' (APACN's) fiber management platform for the construction of a FTTP network.
The deployment is designed to upgrade the operator's network infrastructure, enabling its subscribers with access to voice, video, and high speed Internet connectivity. According to a press release, more than 30% of the network's access lines are already in place, with plans to connect nearly 12,000 lines.
"The service levels provided by APACN was exemplary. The product line and the company's service were exactly what I needed to allow me to focus on turning up customers and generating revenue from the installation," comments James Byerley, assistant general manager of Dickey Rural Telephone.
For the project, APACN was chosen to work alongside Optical Solutions and Emerson Network Power.
