Lightscape to showcases XDM platform at Lightspeed Europe 2002
21 November 2002 -- Lightscape Networks, an ECI Telecom company, will offer carriers its XDM, a solution for the metro access and metro core layers within a flexible, single architecture optical platform.
The XDM is used by carriers in the MAN space to build flexible network topologies that cost-effectively scale through simple modular expansion to meet future demands.
At Lightspeed Europe 2002 (London, 2-5 December) Lightscape will showcase a new multi-service access platform. The platform, says Lightscape, meets the needs of enterprises, mobile operators and utility companies that require reliable Ethernet to offer new fixed Ethernet services to customers.
This, the latest addition to the BroadGate family, strengthens the company's current solutions portfolio and extends the services of the company's flagship XDMT hybrid optical networking platform to the network access.
Lightscape Networks will also be demonstrating the following products on the stand:
- XDM-1000 - A multi-service metro optical platform designed for high capacity central exchange applications
- XDM-400 with DIO card - A compact versatile platform for optical metro-access and cellular networks
- eNM LightSoft - A next-generation network management solution that offers a multi-dimensional approach to hybrid network management.
