RCN provides CAL Financial with carrier-class Ethernet

MAY 6, 2009 -- RCN Metro will provide a carrier-class Ethernet connection from CAL Financial's trading partner in New York City to a Chicago-based financial exchange.

MAY 6, 2009 -- Telecom service provider RCN Metro Optical Networks (search Lightwave for A HREF="http://lw.pennnet.com/search/search.cfm?searcharea=articles&keywords=RCN%20Metro">RCN Metro), a division of RCN Corp., has been selected by CAL Financial, a California developer of proprietary electronic trading systems, to provide carrier-class Ethernet transport services. RCN Metro will provide a carrier-class Ethernet connection from CAL Financial's trading partner in New York City to a Chicago-based financial exchange.
