Neptune Communications llc (Fairfax, VA) executed an agreement with Global Crossing Ltd. (Hamilton, Bermuda) by which Global Crossing will acquire the common stock of Neptune?s submarine development subsidiary, Neptune Communications Corp. Exact terms of the structure of the transaction are to be determined. Neptune Communications llc will continue to own, operate, and market capacity on the North Pacific Cable, a submarine fiber-optic cable providing connectivity between Japan and the United States.
