Kotura inks 2-year supply agreement with Tropic Networks

February 28, 2006 Monterey Park, CA -- Kotura, a supplier of silicon photonics products, announced that Tropic Networks (Ottawa, Canada) has signed a two-year supply agreement for Kotura's Ultra Fast Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) arrays.

February 28, 2006 Monterey Park, CA -- Kotura, a supplier of silicon photonics products, announced that Tropic Networks (Ottawa, Canada) has signed a two-year supply agreement for Kotura's Ultra Fast Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) arrays.

"We selected Kotura's VOAs because they have the ability to deliver the fast power management capability that we require to bring the full power of our patented Wavelength Tracker technology to our customers," comments Len Hayes, vice president of operations at Tropic Networks. "Kotura has been very responsive during our transition from development to production."
