The tds 500C and tds 700C family of InstaVu acquisition digital-storage oscilloscopes are used for communications mask testing. Thirty-nine automatic telecommunications and data-communications masks from DS-0 to oc-12/stm-4 and Gigabit Ethernet are included. Available in 4- and 2-channel models, the oscilloscopes offer a real-time sampling rate to 4 gigasamples per second, a waveform capture rate of up to 400,000 acquisitions per second, an 8-Mbyte record length, and a maximum 1-GHz bandwidth. An optional Communication Signal Analysis Package is available on all models. Prices for the tds 500C and tds 700C oscilloscopes start at $9295 and $12,695, respectively.
