40-dB otdr module

The ftb-7400 series of otdr modules for the ftb-300 universal test system offers up to 40 dB of dynamic range and comes in a variety of configurations. The 1310- and 1550-nm modules suit long-haul network testing, while the 1625-nm version helps locate sources of fiber stress before they affect line capabilities. The devices acquire detailed traces built from as many as 30,000 sampling points and yield deadzones of 3 m.
