Quanta Services Inc. (Houston, TX) completed acquisition of NorAm Telecommunications Inc. (Portland, OR) in a stock-for-stock exchange structured as a pooling-of-interests. NorAm provides outside and inside fiber-optic networks and technical services support for the telecommunications industry. Through the acquisition, Quanta hopes to expand its services capabilities to include telephone system installation as well as network planning and design.
