alltel (Little Rock, AR) and 360? Communications Co. (Chicago, IL) completed their $6 billion merger. Under terms of the agreement, each share of 360? common stock is being exchanged for 0.74 of a share of alltel common stock. Two members of 360??s board will serve on alltel?s board, which expanded from 11 to 15 members in conjunction with the merger.
