Able Telecom Holding Corp. (West Palm Beach, FL) announced an agreement to acquire mfs Network Technologies Inc. (mfsnt--Omaha, NE). Able Telecom provides design, installation, maintenance, and systems integration services for voice, data, and video communications networks. mfsnt is an established provider of telecommunications infrastructure construction services with particular expertise in intelligent traffic management systems, currently working two such projects in Illinois and New Jersey (see "States pay the bills with fiber-optic highways," page 36).
