Keymile acquires Kommunikations-Elektronik
15 July 2003 Hanover Germany Lightwave Europe -- Keymile AG announced today the acquisition of Hanover based Kommunikations-Elektronik GmbH (KE).
The range of services offered by KE includes the development, production, sales, installation and support of innovative hardware and software for transmission technologies in the access network.
Keymile says that the takeover considerably strengthens the existing cooperation between the two companies. With its strong product and service portfolio, Keymile Group believes it is well-positioned to meet the challenges of technical evolution in the
area of access networks.
Ziaedin Chahabadi, Keymile's said of the acquisition, "The close
cooperation between KE and Keymile allows both parties a good market coverage and penetration of the worldwide access field. "
Keymile AG is a leading supplier of managed Multi-Service Access Nodes, with its associated range of customer located equipment and networked solutions.
