Mitel Corp. of Kanata, ON, Canada, has acquired ABB Hafo AB, (Hafo) Jarfalla, Stockholm, from Asea Brown Boveri AB for $56 million. Hafo is a designer, manufacturer and marketer for custom and application-specific integrated circuits and semiconductor components. Hafo also makes optoelectronic components for the communications markets.
