Feb. 18, 2025
The collaboration promises to expand options for clients seeking data center solutions.

On February 18, Accelecom announced its presence at the Lost River Data Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The fiber solution provider’s presence at the data center positions it to offer wavelength, Ethernet, managed services, and IP solutions to businesses seeking data center access.

Accelecom CEO Brad Kilbey reported that investing in and partnering with the data centers is a key element of the company’s go-to-market strategy.

“We are thrilled to work with the team at the Lost River Data Center and provide wholesale partners and enterprises options when it comes to network providers,” said Kilbey in a press release.

The Lost River Data Center is a joint venture between the WKU Research Foundation and Bowling Green Municipal Utilities (BGMU). BGMU Fiber general manager Todd Crosby said the collaboration with Accelecom increases the long-haul carrier portfolio for Lost River Data Center clients.

“The convenience of being co-located with a provider offering next-generation products and services is just one of the many ways we strive to be customer-focused in all we do,” said Crosby in the same press release.

Accelecom is currently the only fiber network that reaches all 120 counties in Kentucky.
