Hudson Interxchange expands high-density capacity at 60 Hudson Street
Hudson Interxchange (Hudson IX) is significantly expanding its high-density capabilities by adding a 2 MW-capacity data hall. The upgrade, set to be move-in ready in November 2025, includes infrastructure designed to deliver cabinet densities of up to 40kW to support high-density IT workloads.
Located within Hudson IX’s NYC-60 Hudson Street data center, the expansion reflects a growing demand for scalable solutions. A portion of the added capacity is being purpose-built to support AI and ML workloads, though Hudson IX emphasizes its flexibility in serving a range of customers.
“Our goal has always been to anticipate and respond to the needs of our customers,” said Hudson IX CTO Arthur Valhuerdi in a press release. “This expansion reflects our commitment to delivering world-class, high-performance infrastructure—offering scalable configurations that support everything from a single cabinet to custom cages in one of New York City’s most connected buildings.”
The buildout expands Hudson IX’s total footprint to nearly 173,00 square feet across multiple floors. The site has a 15 MW capacity and maintains direct utility access from Con Edison.
